Okay, okay, okay, I love this stuff, I youtube this stuff, creative marriage proposals are ace. Although actually the ones on youtube aren’t that great because they are mostly very big, very public affairs and you don’t want to do that. This is about you and the person you love and who loves you deciding to dress fancy and say nice things and then get drunk with all your friends. It’s important. It’s private.
I mean I have a lot of different ideas, and I think it would always depend on who I was with and who they were but here is a proposal plan I’ve always liked - the whispering gallery in st pauls cathedral has these circular dimensions that mean a whisper into any part of the wall will travel all the way round if your ear is pressed against it - and it’s huge. So in proposal terms - she could stand one side and me another and I would whisper it. I like that idea.
