Anonymous asked: do you have a favourite book and poem?
I do, but they depend on how I’m feeling and who I’m being and things like that. Right now I’d say Sylvia Plath’s Mad Girl’s Lovesong was my favourite poem and Sarah Kane’s Complete Plays was my favourite book, if that at all counts. I think my favourite book and poems are usually the same ones, only in rotation. Books:
- Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer
- Written on the Body by Jeanette Winterson
- Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf
- Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte
- Watchmen by Alan Moore
Poetry:
- The Waste Land by TS Eliot
- Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman
- Advent by Patrick Kavanagh
- Hurry Up Please It’s Time by Anne Sexton
- Night Poem by Margaret Atwood
